For all intents and
purposes the person being personified through the poem shall be given a name
that is not her name. In fact it is rather a nickname given to her based on her
registration into the game if you will. Her title is Ninth or 9th
and she is one of twelve people selected to take part in a game that will
decide who will take the throne of time and become a God. In this moment in
time she is speaking directly to the current God of time who is known as Deus.
He himself employed these twelve contestants for the game but one of the twelve
has been lying from the beginning. At this moment in time Deus has elicited the
help of Ninth in order to balance the scales once again and prove that there is
only one true heir to the throne of time.
